an important update!

Knee high boots and political commentary, the only way to end the year.

I’m going on a new, different, sparkly, even BIGGER national tour.

It’s called Cheek Live: State of the Nation. These are the largest venues I’ve ever booked (Hamer Hall!!!! 2,500 seater!!!) and to match - I’m planning even deeper dives into the hectic news climate we find ourselves in.

It might be embarrassing to say, but I’ve always wanted my live shows to be described as a political stand-up comedy gig. That’s the nerdy dream.

I don’t tend to market my tours that way overtly. Instead they’re described as hopeful, political and a bit of a laugh - which I hope they are. But secretly, every time the feedback comes in that it felt ‘surprisingly like stand up’ - I grin in a really big, ugly way. Hell yeah - combining these two things is a challenge and I am up for it. This time around, I am aiming bigger and better than ever before.

It’s terrifying to put yourself out there and hope that people still want to buy a ticket, connect in person and find the joy in hard times. I don’t like the self-promotion of it all, but this money all goes back to Cheek to help us support our growing team to thrive.
