Our banks have 'customer OBSESSED' as some sort of buzz term and our work places are set up for young men to thrive and women to be left behind. Domestic violence thrives when women are not taken seriously and that our society is still a patriarchy.
one politician who is doing nothing to empower victims of domestic violence is WA attorney- general tony Buti. he has simply failed to take steps to enable people in de facto relationships in wa to be in the same position as married people who are now able to have the Family Court consider the impact of coercive control and domestic violence in financial settlements.
this failure is difficult to understand when it will cost the government nothing.
