It’s interesting that we talk passionately about gender equality and advocate for it fiercely as progressive women in Australia. Yet hair, a core part of identity for many Black women and girls, is rarely part of the conversation. Its impact is real: economically, socially, and even environmentally. And still, it often goes unnoticed.
