We're bringing explainers to Substack! And more updates from Cheek HQ
Cheek's recap on the week that was.
Hello hello, it’s that time again already! I hope it’s been a week full of blue skies, tasty eats, and a minimal amount of end-of-year doom.
Starting off this week’s newsletter with a big thank you to everyone who has filled out our audience survey so far. We are tracking well beyond our expectations! A quick reminder for those who haven’t already filled it out that there is an awesome prize up for grabs (we’re calling it The Ultimate Cheek Prize Pack) - and you’ll all have our eternal appreciation too.
FILL OUT THE 2025 CHEEK AUDIENCE SURVEY
The prize includes limited edition Cheek Tour merch (the Cheek Live Dad Cap and Everything is F*cked Tank Tote), a copy of both of Hannah’s books (Taboo and Bite Back), AND - thanks to our friends at Normal - an incredible 12-day Advent Calendar filled with $1100 worth of luxury vibrators, playful kink gear, wellness essentials and connection tools. The survey will remain open for the rest of the year, with the prize to be drawn in January - you can enter here!
And before we move on, please let me make a GROVELLING apology to our beautiful South Australian subscribers for accidentally (and very remorsefully) leaving your state off of the survey. In case there was ANY doubt, this is by no means reflective of our opinion of SA - one of our most favourite Australian states to visit!!! Thankfully, we were quickly alerted to the error and were able to get the question updated before too many responses came through. However, if you are from SA and did complete the survey before it was updated (and didn’t already mention it elsewhere in your answers), please feel free to send me a DM so I can make sure we reflect it correctly in the data!
In another update from Cheek HQ, we have decided to post the explainer content that we create for Instagram to Substack as well - we’ve started this week with the foreign-funded civil war in Sudan. Our hope is that this will be a value add for subscribers who don’t have Instagram - or who prefer to read long form in a designated environment. Plus, it will allow us to go into a little more depth than what we are able to fit in an IG carousel. What we want to know from you is how you’d like this delivered! Should we send out a notification (as we do for other content) when an explainer is posted to Substack, or would you rather just find it on the site in your own time? You can vote in the poll below.
And just a quick note beforehand to inform those who may not already know, if you are overwhelmed by Substack notifications, you can actually jump into your account settings to customise how and when you would like to be notified of new content from Cheek (and any other publications you subscribe to). Here’s a helpful guide on how to do that!
